Here è il primo tutorial di Modding Land. Il tutorial verra schematizzzato così da essere più chiaro possibile...e allora siete pronti a mettere il naso sulla carrozzeria del nostro xp? Cominciamo!
Premessa:
Questo tutorial è fatto per applicare temi per Windows Xp SP3 a 32 bit, perciò assicurarsi di avere il Service Pack 3 (se non l'avete consiglio di installarlo anche per motivi di sicurezza). Non so se nei computer a 64 bit il tema e i programmi necessari per la "trasformazione" siano compatibili.
Ultima cosa: consiglio di cominciare questo tutorial avendo a disposizione un PC con almeno 1Gb di Ram.
Per sapere che SP è installato sul vostro PC e quanta RAM ha, basta andare su Risorse Computer> Properties.
Theme:
Before proceeding, make sure you have installed UxTheme Patcher
If you have not done so, download and install it:-To
SP3 Ux Theme Patcher is crucial as it allows to apply themes targati not Microsoft.
UxThemePatcher installed, download the theme to view: Vista VG RTM
Copy the downloaded theme in the folder C: \\ WINDOWS \\ Resources \\ Themes.
Once moved the topic to go to Display Properties and click the Appearance tab and select the theme Vista VG RTM. To have the effect
aero click here .
Cursors: here download from the pack of cursors.
Move all the sliders in the C: \\ WINDOWS \\ Cursors. Then go to Control Panel> Mouse> Pointers and change the pointers to go with the default download. Once this is done save the scheme and apply it.
Icons and Sounds:
To change the icons could be used for two solutions:
-Change each file (system or not) that we are interested in and replace them with the original files using various programs such as Replacer or use a Linux distro such as ubuntu in live mode, access the Windows partition and replace the files that interest us
-Installare in parte Vista Mizer, che selezionando la casella File/System e Other/Sound che ci installerà suoni e icone in poco tempo.
La soluzione che sceglieremo sarà quella di Vista Mizer.
Sidebar
Un elemento di Vista molto importante è la sidebar e in questo tutorial non poteva di certo mancare. Assicuratevi di avere installato i seguenti componenti prima di procedere:
- Net Framework 2.0
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package
- Internet Explorer 7
- Wireless LAN API (KB918997)
- Windows Media Player 11
Adesso scaricate da qui il pacco.
Install in the following order:
1) Alky for Application
2) Sidebar
3) Gadgets Extrator.
When finished, start the sidebar.
Now your desktop should look something like this.
Taskbar
Comparing the start button of xp with our view that we will notice that Vista is bigger. To get the same button, download ViOrb , start it and subsequently we will have the same start of Vista on XP. Do not forget to copy the link ViOrb in the Startup folder so that shares when Windows starts.
A very welcome effect on this view is transparency applied to the system tray. To emulate on XP should install Transbar . Council to set the transparency level to 80%. Run when you start the program by checking the box Run at Windows Startup
proceed with the preview function to emulate the small windows on the taskbar. Install Visual Task Tips from here.

ViStart:
Another very useful feature of Vista is the ViStart. A useful feature is the one that allows you to search through the file search bar located at the bottom.
only flaw is the consumption of RAM, 15 Mb constant. Download
Windows Explorer
What we will do now is the most decisive step that will make the explorer xp almost equal to that view. To do this you need:
- Styler (from which it derives styler toolbar, the theme of which must be downloaded from here )
- QttaBar and QT AndressBar .
Styler Install and reboot, install and QTTaBar QTAndressBAr and reboot a second time. Now go to any folder, right click on the button bar standard e deselezionate pulsanti standard e selezionate invece StylerToolBar, Qt TabBar, Qt Tab Standard Button, Qt Breadcrumbs AdressBar.
Per installare il tema di styler ToolBar estraete l'archivio del tema e copiate la cartella in C:\Programmi\Styler\TB\skins\Styler's. Fatto questo cliccate sul floppy della styler toolbar e selezionate la skin onlybluebar.
Vedrete che la barra sarà in inglese, per renderla italiana salvate le immagini sottostanti e sostituitele con quelle originali.
Fatto questo andate su C:\Programmi\Styler\TB\skins\Styler's\onlyBlueBar aprite toolbar.ini, erase everything and copy this code: --------------------------------------

Before QttaBar translated into Italian by downloading this file: http://qttabbar.wikidot.com/local--files/userpages:language-files/Lng_QTTabBar_Italian_1.2.2.xml
After that put the language files in a folder that you will never go to a folder and MOVE whatever, right-click next on QT Tab Bar and click options. On the first tab, under " Language" select the Italian language.
After that go to the tab "appearance", click on "image uses for the cards " and set the image previously downloaded. Click
then uses the bar and set the background image previously downloaded. Appearance tab, there are other values, so imposateli:
to complete the explorer to download and install XP Vista Drive Icon which shows us, simply by entering in My Computer, the space occupied in the peripheral and Hard drive, just like Vista.
& Bootskin Logon: Let the
BootSkin. (Ie the screen where the logo shown at startup of Win XP)
BootSkin We download from here and BootSkin Vista style from here.
Once we copy the extracted folder "ToonBoot1-5 - Copy" option on the folder you just extracted and go to paste it into the directory C: \\ Program Files \\ Stardock \\ WinCustomize \\ BootSkin \\ skins. Bootskin we start and we're going to select the BootSkin installed.

Downloaded from here the "Paccozzo" containing logon all the various versions of Windows Vista Logon Loader 3.0 and the program, once downloaded extract the files "Windows Vista Logon v5 Big" and "Logon Loader v3.0".
